Health Diagnosis

I was just recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which is something I've thought for awhile I had.  So sorta of happy for the diagnosis but secretly who wants to be in THIS MUCH PAIN!  Definitely not me!  So I'm working on developing some roll-on's to help me w/the pain in my lower back, tingling hands and feet, loss of circulation, muscle cramps, and more!  I'm still going to be hosting my DIY classes which I'm not sure if I announced here or not but I recently started doing DIY classes online to share my passion of essential oils and simplicity living with the world! I am really enjoying the easiness of it all w/the oils and simple ingredients!  Plus its all gluten free and toxic free!  If you're on periscope make sure you're following me at TravelLaughLove!
I'm participating in a walk to raise awareness and possibly a cure for Fibromyalgia!  Join me or donate:  https://www.crowdrise.com/lynn-nyccaterpillarwalk/fundraiser/TravelLaughLove
Until next time!

Cruise Do's & DON'T's

We just got back from our Royal Caribbean Cruise on Anthem of the Sea this SATURDAY and I have mostly complaints!  1. They did not have almost any new options for "GOOD" Gluten Free & Dairy free options...the same baking soda tasting bread (there are so many better mixes out now), 2. They did not have any gluten free beer onboard the ship (at any of the bars, etc), 3. Some of my dinners took over 1 hour to be prepared and my food allergies/sensitivities were given MONTHS in advance, 4. Desserts were scarce and I have taken many cruises w/them and back in 2010 when we went on my honeymoon cruise the desserts were a lot better!  They definitely need someone to direct them in their ongoing options for gluten & dairy free individuals as there are MANY!  Also they need to improve upon their communication on and OFF the ship as this was very poorly lacking!  I'd be happy to be their Gluten Free Dairy Free consultant if they asked!  Just saying ;-)

We did LOVE their trivia, great staff members who actively tried with what they had (they just didn't have much), and we loved our balcony room!  I hope in the future they will improve and if we take another cruise with them they will have an active list of requests so it can start feeling like a vacation!  (As a Gluten Free Dairy Free Foodie who does tours are NYC I expect massive options and on a cruise everyone else but those with food allergies gets them...this desperately needs to be FIXED)  Thank you!

Totally FUCD UP Beer & Hard Apple Cider Review...it's not your Sorority Sister's Beer ;-)

From time to time I get asked to review truly awesome new GLUTEN FREE items and this past weekend I got to review TOTALLY FUCD UP GF Craft Beer & Hard Apple Cider!  I personally can't drink anything with apples in it but my hubby LOVED IT!  The beer was different from most Gluten Free beer I've had since I tend to stick to Redbridge and a few others but definitely starts out bitter with an awesome smell of olives (I LOVE olives).  After a few sips the bitterness slightly goes away, I think this beer reminds me of a pale ale back in my college beer drinking days!  I would recommend this to anyone looking for that type of taste that also happens to be Gluten Free (Celiac, AutoImmune reasons for a Gluten Free Diet, or Gluten Intolerant!  I definitely like that it's a home-brew and more and more people are making awesome Gluten Free beer!  Sometimes Gluten free beer won't fizz up all the way but this one passed the test!  Overall I would give it 4 out of 5 as I'm not a HUGE fan of bitter beers but it did calm down a bit after the first sip and it is fully Gluten Free!  I love how the owner uses a different method than most when making this gluten free beer.  My hubby can't stop raving about the Hard Apple Cider so I think that gets a 5 out of 5!  I recently talked to the owner of Totally FUCD UP and he provided his inspiration for me:   He was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance a few months ago and as an aspiring Brewer, he realized most of the GF beer is really bad...and most use a chemical to remove the gluten but he researched GF grains...found a maker in Boulder, CO that supplied and decided to buy some of everything he offered...plus some extra stuff he found locally..GOTTA love buying local...so he got this beer over 9% which he had never seen GF beer go there!

Here's a picture of this awesome beer
If you're interested in more information hit up Vince at 4ChambersBrewing@gmail.com I know right now he's looking for an amazing celiac to try his latest offering!

Thanksgiving Week

Hey Loves,
I know I promised to do more blogposts and have really been slacking!  But today I want to talk about a really important topic and that's explaining CROSS-CONTAMINATION to your loved ones so they don't just think you're nuts...as I'll be honest sometimes my older sister thinks I am!  Yes almost any food sensitivity/autoimmune response can be caused from cross contamination and no one wants to intentionally get us sick right?  But they need to fully understand just how sick we can get from using the same pan's they've used for something we can't have...even cleaning it 100 times can't get rid of that exposure.  Just look at this article on Cross Contamination!  So this year when you're trying to not get sick and really fully enjoy the holidays just send them a link to this article and get ready to have a sense of calm come over you so they can finally understand just how REAL Cross-Contamination is!

Another big issue around the holidays includes making our favorite dishes into Gluten Free options and I'm about to create an E-book over the next month with some of my favorite recipes...done up the Gluten Free Way so look for that!  In the meantime I always recommend visiting www.GFJules.com for amazing Gluten Free recipes and I know I'll be making this on Wednesday http://gfjules.com/recipes/easy-as-pie-pumpkin-pie-no-crust-needed/

Enjoy your Thanksgiving if you celebrate (and you're in the US) and I'll be back next month with a lot more great blogposts for you...plus 2016 my biggest goal is to WRITE more!

Until then XOXO!

What do you guys want to know about Gluten Free Living?

What are the top 3 problems you have since being Gluten Free?

Coming out to my family as Gluten Free, is this a topic you'd be interested in?

GFAF Expo + Wellness Lounge

Super excited to be attending the GF AF Expo this weekend with a PLAN...yes I said it so you can all hold me accountable!  Normally I just waver around the entire incredibly awesome Expo full of over 100 vendors just meeting people and getting extra delicious yummy GF food but this year I'm working on gaining more partnerships and building better relationships with Gluten Free and healthy living brands so I can improve my gluten free tours and get my gluten free coaching off the ground FINALLY!  I just finished being the assistant for The Wellness Lounge where I did all the social media and being the ongoing support for all vendors until the day of the event.  The event went amazingly!  I love event planning!  Back to the GFAF Expo, I'd love to meet up with anyone that's reading my blog or if you have a favorite vendor that'll be there feel free to post their name below!  <3 guys="" love="" next="" p="" post="" the="" until="" you="">

CDF's and feeling good!

Hey everyone!

I decided I am going to try to post on this blog every week so I can keep better track of my life and my current CDF (Core-Desired-Feelings) which totally are feeling supported, accomplished, happy, and relaxed.  What are yours?  Feel free to leave them in the comments section!  I am definitely feeling very much supported by watching and interacting on periscope esp. Courtney Johnston's scopes!  I just added my opt-in so I'm feeling somewhat accomplished as I've been looking up ways to do it for months and now I finally did it even though its not going to go straight to mail chimp like I had wanted...better done than not!  I am very happy to have this freedom in my life even though I could definitely use a part time job (volunteer coordinator, event planning/social media, or tutor/nanny) if anyone knows of something up to 25 or so hrs a week let me know!  I am buying notebooks this week so I can start feeling much more relaxed and start being more organized and do journaling in the mornings!  I can't wait to hear all of your CDF's!  Make sure you're following me on periscope at CleanLiving!
